“Step on it!!!” yelled Goldie.
The Toyota pickup accelerated past the Prius containing Leroy and William and right through the red light. The cross traffic parted just enough for them to make it through with no more than a couple of near misses.
“Wow. That was so cool!”
“Alright, where’s that Mercedes?” asked Paloma.
“There!”
“Let’s slow down and drop back a bit this time. He must have made those two in the Prius,” said Paloma.
“Mr. Sherbert has been watching his cop shows,” said Goldie.
“Did you get a look at who was in the Prius?”
“You’re joking, right?” said Goldie.
“Worth asking,” said Paloma.

Rufus slowed the car down gradually to the speed limit and said, “Are you alright back there?”
“That was fun!”
“Yeah, it was pretty cool.”
“Better even than your unicorns and rainbows?” asked the female voice in the back seat.
“Way better. I could get used to this,” said Rufus.
“Well then keep up the good work and we can buy ten of these. But don’t get on the wrong side of those Joe chicks.”
“Don’t forget Don Julio. He’s a mean bastard,” said Rufus.
“I thought you said he was into hacking into people’s computer systems and holding them for ransom.”
“Yeah, but just because he doesn’t sell weed anymore doesn’t mean he lost his edge. He can be real savage.”
“We’ll take care of him, honey bunny.”
“And the chicks,” said Rufus with a smile.
